Put The Blame On Me

Often times, when things go wrong in a relationship, friendship, or just life in general, one tends to put the blame on someone or something. It is so much easier to place the blame on someone or something rather than doing what actually in some cases should be done. Sometimes the lense must be turned inward and take responsibility for our actions.  Although the actions may have been influenced or provoked, ultimately one is responsible for his/her own actions. So, one cannot always be so quick to place blame unless he or she has taken a look within. This is not always the case, but there are certain situations that could have been avoided, had another path of action been chosen.

  1. Very well said. Sometimes friends are for a season, but as you said, one needs to look inside oneself before passing the blame.

    1. Yes sir. Sometimes that's the hardest thing to do. There are actions that one would rather not be responsible for, yet he/she did whatever it was. There has to be a strong sense of control and awareness of actions and possible outcomes

    2. I agree that a strong sense of control and awareness may prevent most relationships from going sour, but don't be too controlled to the point where the relationship isn't enjoyable.

  2. Blaming others is a quite a pointless activity don't you think? There isn't much that you can achieve by doing that. Quite a useless thing eh?

    1. Precisely the reason I made this post. It's easy to do but rather irresponsible and immature.
